Grove Road
The sophisticated dark green palette of this Grove Road project in north east London is paired with warm American Walnut, a sophisticated terrazzo worktop and textured tiles that ensure a longevity in style that will serve this family for many years ahead.
This kitchen has subtle nods to both the Victorian building it occupies as well as the shaker-style kitchen the owners originally sought after.
After sampling a number of different options we produced ‘slim shaker’ framed doors to offer a modern take on the traditional. This was paired with a typically Victorian shade of green in the cabinets, balanced against a natural palette in the rest of the kitchen.
The bespoke reeded glass wall units have subtle chamfered frame edging with a shelf that stretches along the length of the kitchen towards the window.
When designing kitchens we look beyond the standard fronts+cabinets and see where we can add interesting design elements that are both useful and beautiful.
