Parklands
A kitchen in the middle of a home might make you think you need to opt for light reflective surfaces, yet A New Day design studio confidently did a u-turn on such theories and we think it turned out all the better for it. Adding texture to the kitchen fronts elevates this SW London project into a luxe and fully bespoke space that is a celebration of natural materials and tactility.
Look closely and you’ll see how we squeezed in a narrow workbench that has both cabinets and seating; the bespoke steel frame on one end holds glassware behind reeded glass, and the other is open shelving for cookery books and decorative vases, with a curved and ribbed back to the seating area.
