Balham Park
This London flat hosts the living space in the loft extension, providing a kitchen and dining space towards the front, and a more relaxed living space to the rear. In-between we designed a desk nook and bar area to transition between the spaces, and built-in bespoke bench and storage cupboards maintain a consistency across the space.
Fitting the kitchen units into the pitched roof maximised the efficiency of the space, and positioning the sink in front of the window ensured a full height space as well as views out.
The kitchen is full of materials – from the oak fronts, stainless steel worktop, tactile tiles and colour blocked cabinetry make it timeless and interesting project.
